The Property Accounting Supervisor reports to the Property Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

·         Supervision of property accounting staff of four to eight employees.

·         Responsible for the monthly duties surrounding the close of the PCM subledger.

·         Preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting schedules.

·         Preparation of quarterly variance analysis.

·         Handle requests for project capitalization and classification guidance.

·         Handle requests for internal and external audits and special projects.

·         Maintain high standards within the team and provide direction and coaching to the staff.

·         Responsible for the timely resolution of outstanding accounting issues.

·         SOX controls documentation and testing.

·         Support changes during accounting software implementation.



Requirements

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

 

·         A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.

·         A CPA is preferred.

·         A minimum of 10 years accounting experience is required.

·         Energy industry experience is preferred.

·         Prior supervisory experience is required.

·         Oracle experience is preferred.

·         Must be proficient in Excel.

·         Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization and external parties.

·         Possess strong analytical skills.

·         A self-starter who has the ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.

·         Able to take direction well and upholds the standards and procedures of the department.

·         Must be flexible and responsive to team needs.

·         Comfortable working with staff in the assigning and managing of duties and providing direction, constructive feedback and praise.

·         Ability to adapt to change and work in a fluid environment.

·         Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills.
