The Turnaround & NRM Quality Supervisor is responsible for executing the corporate quality strategy for all turnaround, Non-Routine Maintenance work and the HRO fabrication shop. They will be responsible for leading a diverse team of QA professionals to ensure all aspects of company and industry code are followed. This includes ensuring welding work, bolting work, material specs, NDE hold points, meet Company standards, procedures and code. The role will also be responsible for management of all contract QC's during project execution and be a liaison between our corporate welding engineering department.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervises multi discipline QA/QC team on turnaround and NRM projects.
  • Supervises the HRO fab shops QA lead. 
  • Oversees compliance with Company Quality Program.
  • Oversees compliance with Code requirements.
  • Oversees adherence to Company procedures and standards.
  • Plans, coordinates, schedules and supervises all additional quality control inspection contracted.
  • Conducts regular quality audits of manufacturing / fabrication processes to identify areas for improvement to Quality Programs, Company procedures and Company standards, with respect to welding and mechanical activities.


Requirements

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • High school education or the equivalent.

  • Six (6) years' experience in equipment inspection, general welding inspection, general understanding of welder qualification programs within the oil and gas industry.

  • General knowledge of industry and company welding and mechanical craft code, standards & procedures.

  • Knowledge of Non-destructive Examination “NDE” (UT, RT, MT, PT, etc.)

  • Knowledgeable in executing quality programs.

  • Ability to work in varied environments and climates.

  • Is self-motivated and has high quality work ethics.

  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.


Desired Characteristics

  • Associates degree in inspection technology, welding technology or the equivalent.
  • Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification through American Welding Society.
