JOB OVERVIEW:

At EPIC, HR is about more than just solving people problems; it's about partnering with business leaders and delivering results to drive organizational growth. We are searching for a high potential HR Programs & Communications Specialist who will lead and coordinate strategic initiatives across HR Operations, in particular focusing on early career programs (college recruiting), HR communications, and cross-functional support for HR Centers of Excellence (COEs). This matrix role is designed to enhance operational efficiency, drive engagement, and ensure consistent messaging across HR functions.

 

LOCATION: HYBRID - Must be willing & able to work at least 3 days a week in one of our following offices: Atlanta (Sandy Springs) GA, Duluth GA, or Jersey City NJ

 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Required: At least 3+ years of professional experience in Human Resources and/or Recruiting role
  • Strongly Preferred: Experience working in HR department performing college recruiting and utilizing Handshake college recruiting website. This is a GREAT opportunity for someone in college recruiting who's ready to get experience supporting other areas of HR other than just recruiting/talent acquisition.
  • MUST HAVE high attention to detail and strong organizational and project management skills. This role will be responsible for managing tasks and projects and proactively communicating with applicable stakeholders applicable updates or questions.
  • Strong communicator (both written and verbal communication) who enjoys creating and managing communications, articles, and correspondence for internal stakeholders.
  • Adaptable team players who can balance a variety of tasks and prioritize what has the highest level of urgency.
  • HR professionals eager to learn and grow!

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

A detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to):

Early Career Program Management

  • Serve as program manager for college recruiting / early talent program, coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders (HR Business Partners, TA Partners, Hiring Managers, Colleges/Universities).
  • Collaborate closely with HR COE's to plan, facilitate, and execute college recruiting and early career initiatives, including leading meetings and driving regular communications.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert of and manage the Handshake platform.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for early career hires and interns.

HR Communications

  • Own and maintain the annual HR communications calendar.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute HR newsletters, updates, and training materials.
  • Ensure HR pages are integrated with related departments (e.g., Finance, Benefits) and reflect current policies and programs.

Operational Support

  • Provide project management support as needed for HR team projects (could also manage the annual HR projects in Smartsheet)

 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of professional experience in Human Resources or Recruiting role
  • Experience in HR operations, communications, and/or program management.
  • A creative mindset with attention to detail, but also highly proficient writing and editing skills for internal communications.
  • Strong project management, time management, organization, and event coordination skills.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Highly self-motivated and results oriented.
  • Experience working with early career platforms (e.g., Handshake) and college recruiting efforts.
  • Proficient Excel skills with experience pulling and reviewing data to drive decisions.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage matrix relationships.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and evolving role scope.

 

COMPENSATION:

The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
