JOB OVERVIEW:

The Risk Services/Analytics Assistant will support the Risk Services Manager/Analytics Team and department with assistance in the implementation of service plans for large commercial accounts that will result in a meaningful difference in client's total cost of risk. They will coordinate the claims advocacy, analytics, risk engineering, and other customized solutions. They will assist in coordinating our customized services as directed by the manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
This role is responsible for, although not limited to, the following job duties:
• Assist in the coordination of service plan/stewardship reports
• Sets up and maintains client service activity files and filing (electronic), scanning and copying of all required documents
• Maintains proper risk management file regarding requests for reports, materials for reports, final reports, and all associated email and verbal communication
• Maintains claim file documentation including claim notes, correspondence, faxes, and emails in Sagitta and WorkSmart
• Coordinates gathering and conversion of loss runs for claim reports
• Completes review of loss history and prepares loss analysis materials
• Prepares client presentation materials utilizing Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Tableau and/or PowerBI
• Assists in the coordination and development of client service materials
• Coordinate the priority and delivery of work products
• Assumes ownership of client and/or EPIC stakeholder concerns and feedback until a resolution is successfully accomplished
• Builds and maintains productive relationships with key internal stakeholders as well as our clients
• Complies with all internal procedures and practices while demonstrating the ability to meet service performance and quality standards
• Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Foster a positive, healthy, quality based, Team environment
• Participate in client meetings in person or via conference/video calls
• Assist in the training of Risk Analysts, Claims Assistants, or other team members as relates to the above job functions
• Performs other related support duties as requested.

ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS:
• Administer service plan accounts and stewardship reports
• Inputs data into service program logs for NurseFirst, RMC, and others as requested

REPORTS AND DATABASE MANAGEMENT:
• Document client activity in Sagitta and ImageRight system
• Coordinate and complete service reports
• Assist with loss analysis reports

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year of insurance experience preferable but we are flexible.
  • Ability to communicate professionally.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be accurate, detailed, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, take direction from multiple sources and prioritize using sound judgement
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent diplomacy skills and background in resolving client issues (specifically utilizing analytical skills)
  • Strong computer skills including MS office suite, Excel and PowerPoint.

Technology:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant company proprietary databases

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma required. College degree preferred.

COMPENSATION: 

The national average hourly rate for this role is $25.64 - $30.77 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
