Fair Isle Animal Clinic is an independent practice in a progressive community on a PNW island.

Fair Isle Animal Clinic is a mixed animal practice on Vashon Island in the Puget Sound. We have been a cornerstone of this wonderful, quirky, animal-loving island community for 41 years. We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian who finds joy in veterinary medicine and client interaction. We are seeking a colleague who accepts and gives team support, who is brave enough to learn, and curious enough to grow. We are seeking an individual who realizes that none of us are as perfect as our best moment or as poor as our lowest. We recognize veterinary medicine is not for the faint of heart, but here at Fair Isle we make sure it is deeply rewarding.
Fair Isle's primary patients are dogs and cats, but we will see just about anything. We offer strong mentoring and are happy to bring associates up to speed in species that are currently outside their comfort zone. New grads are encouraged to apply.
Fair Isle has the usual specs you would want, including electronic medical records, digital radiography, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, in house lab suite, licensed technicians and experienced support staff. We have a solid compensation, benefits, and CE package. Our regular work schedule is 3 days per week, but can be scaled up if an associate needs to have a higher salary. Fair Isle Animal Clinic is an independent veterinary clinic. Our independence lets us choose the diagnostics and treatments our patients need, and set our own high standards to match best practices rather than a corporate spreadsheet. We mentor new associates, including recent graduates, to those high standards. Your learning will happen within an experienced team rather than by directives from a corporate office.
