As a Commercial Insurance Account Executive with First Commonwealth Insurance Agency, you are providing highly professional sales support and client service while cross-selling and deepening the relationship with the Agency's premiere Commercial Property & Casualty accounts. You support the efforts to expand profitable, long-term client relationships by working strategically with Commercial Insurance Sales, Account Management and bank partners. You continuously develop and follow service and performance standards necessary for the delivery of value services and solutions. In order to resolve complex client concerns you analyze problems and perform in-depth research in order to make recommendations to management as needed.
Essential Job Responsibilities
1. Provide highly professional delivery of sales support and client service while cross-selling and deepening the relationship with the Agency's premiere and most profitable clients.
2. Assist advisors in the research of industry-specific and/or client- specific information in preparation for prospect meetings.
3. Educates sales support staff to integrate value-added philosophies into proposals, client interaction, and overall client management.
4. Coordinates with supervisor to maintain understanding of the expectations regarding the support of FCIA's highest valued Commercial Property/Casualty Clients.
5. Maintains relationships with carriers and other related companies that are critical to the function of the business strategy.
6. Analyzes problems and performs in-depth research in order to resolve complex client issues and makes recommendations to management as needed.
7. Effectively supports the efforts to expand profitable, long-term client relationships by working strategically with Commercial Insurance Sales, Account Management, Shared Services and bank partners while providing exceptional, ongoing customer service internally and externally.
8. Collaborates with advisors to identify and implement the most appropriate product(s) and service solutions for the client.
9. Ensures that updates to systems are consistent and current with organizational processes regarding client interaction and data specific information.
10. Supports executive management with non-specified duties and projects as necessary and requested.
11. Creates and maintain positive relationships with advisors, clients, bank partners and carrier representatives.
12. Works to ensure the retention of a specific commercial client portfolio by working with advisors to create appropriate solutions and discovering and executing ways to deepen the relationship.
13. Supports the production staff for strategic prospects and clients by performing all sales-support duties, including but not limited to quoting, creating proposals, and providing customer support.
14. Coordinates and integrates with the Account Management staff and Advisors to carry out delivery of product(s) and/or service(s) and works with the advisor or client to make the sale.
15. Understands and maintains consistent follow up on procedures and system data needs that are applicable to the Agency Management System and overall agency operations in P&C.
16. Identifies vendors that may deliver value added services beneficial to the risk management needs of our clients.
17. Coordinates and integrates with P&C Sales Manager & Agency Development Manager to ensure that the methods of business operations are consistent with the needs of customer base, carrier partners and FCIA's recordkeeping and reporting.
18. Develops, integrates and adheres to service standards that support premiere clients of FCIA.
19. Infuses insight to tangible processes, programs and/or products that add value to FCIA's P&C Department and its respective clients.
Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications
1. An associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
2. A minimum of three (3) years of Insurance industry specific experience, including some management.
3. Current Insurance licensing (Life, Accident and Health, and/or Property and Casualty)
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication and organization skills.
5. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel regionally across the First Commonwealth footprint.
6. May be eligible for Telecommuting.
