Operations Supervisor – New Britain Schools

Salary: $65,000 – $72,000/year based on experience

Your Role as Operations Supervisor:
  • Supervise daily dispatch and driving operations to ensure safe and timely service

  • Coach, counsel, and train drivers and dispatchers to meet performance standards

  • Monitor trip performance, route start times, safety incidents, and overall service quality

  • Prepare and maintain daily operational reports and scheduling records

  • Respond to customer concerns and service issues in a professional manner

  • Support administrative needs including routing, payroll, training, and road supervision

  • May assist in recruiting and onboarding new drivers

What You'll Bring:
  • Experience: 1–3 years in transit or related transportation fields; prior driving and supervisory experience strongly preferred

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent

  • License: Class B CDL required

  • Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Technology: Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and transportation-related systems

  • Adaptability: Ability to supervise operations in both office and field environments
