Job Description Summary
Performs all non-safety critical functions of school bus repair. Wages starting at $18/hour Hour of work will be Monday - Friday 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM Hourly employees are rewarded for every hour worked and can redeem earned points for a variety of prizes, gift certificates, trips or future planning. Major Responsibilities- Perform servicing tasks cleaning of filters.
- Replaces bulbs.
- Lubricates equipment.
- Removes wheels and tires.
- Changes fluids in buses.
- Any other maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Repairs floors , seat backs, and coverings
- Replace mirrors and some exterior panels
- Add and remove decals
Minimum Education or Certifications Required
- High School degree or equivalent
Minimum Experience or Skills Required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess a small set of hand tools, increasing as training progresses
- Ability to learn and perfect maintenance skills
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Maintenance Shop environment
- Physical ability to work in the trade
- Ability to lift up to 65 pounds
