The “APAC Supply Chain Manager” will be based in Shenzhen or Shanghai, reporting to Sr Director, Supply Chain Management.

Responsible for managing the development of integrated inbound and outbound supply chain optimization models to enable Flex Embedded Power to minimize operating costs, provide input into capital decisions and maximize profitability for the APAC region. Responsible for the development and execution of supply chain strategies to minimize costs and ensure the effective deployment of net working capital across all facilities in the APAC region. Responsible for cross-functional engagement for, as well as stakeholder engagement for decision making.

What a typical day looks like:

• Lead architect of supply chain strategies for the APAC region to minimize cost and ensure effective deployment of net working capital

• Primary contact with the stakeholder community for optimized supply chain design for the region

• Responsible for the execution, implementation and updates on supply chain actions across APAC to all aspects of the Embedded Power organization; inclusive of:

  • Raw and Finished Good Asset Velocity

  • Logistics Optimization

  • Other items as needed

• Effectively work with a cross functional team of business development, industrialization, operations and commodity management

• Collaborate with the Sales and Operational Planning & Business Development teams to ensure raw material, semi-finished goods and finished good supply chain can meet end customer service level requirements

• Researches and articulates changes to the overall trade landscape around the different Embedded Power manufacturing in APAC

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.  Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of supply chain management experience or similar field, including broad based management and supervision.

• Demonstrates expert functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills. Demonstrates detailed expertise in very complex functional/technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas; understands the strategic impact of the function across sites.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference to practical situations

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

• Impacts the medium term direction and operational success of the function.  Executes and provides input to functional plans and objectives for the site. Enhances and provides input to functional processes or technologies. Has experience in leading major initiatives and provides input to those initiatives. May have P&L responsibility for sections/sub-functions. Creates functional processes or technologies。

• Makes decisions for the function and the site. Decisions may affect site.

• Recognizes and develops talent as a key element of executing operational business plans. Ensures Flex values are part of site work life. Provides strategic leadership for the function and the site.
