Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Engineer – Manufacturing Engineering in Chennai, India.
What a typical day looks like:
- Design and develop fixtures for machining, assembly, welding, and inspection processes.
- Ensure designs comply with GD&T standards, material specifications, and manufacturing feasibility.
- Apply DFA guidelines to minimize part count, simplify assembly steps, and reduce costs.
- Design fixtures for PCBA manufacturing and PCB panel array design.
- Create SOPs for product manufacturing and provide support to manufacturing facilities to improve efficiency.
- Determines quality/testing methods/procedures on new assignments. Decisions may affect department/function.
- May conduct on-the-job training and/or lead/guide other employees.
- Demonstrates knowledge of advanced technologies as well as functional techniques and improves processes.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree – ECE / EEE / Mechanical / Mechatronics with 4 – 6 years of experience in manufacturing industry preferably in EMS Industry.
- Experiences in PCBA Pallet designs Such as Wave solder, Routing, Printer
- Develop detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for mechanical parts and assemblies using SolidWorks
- Aptitude to work with a multi-functional team to define requirements and suitable metrics for the performance of new products and process.
- Able to perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
- Knowledge of sheet metal design, plastic components, or machine parts.
- Familiarity with ISO/ASME standards.

- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks,).

- Experience with PLM systems and engineering change management.
- Knowledge & direct experience in NPI operations and manufacturing engineering.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic startup environment.
- Work with other engineering team members to improve existing design or Process.
- Knowledge of MS office and MS outlook
- Excellent written and oral communication skills MANDATORY.
- Good analytical skills.
- Coaching & mentoring skills.
- Should be open for shifts.
