To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we're looking to add an EHS Intern located in our Coopersville, MI site.
Reporting to the EHS Team, the student will support EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with both company and regulatory requirements while learning, collaborating and working with cross-functional teams.
What a typical day looks like:
- Review EHS procedures to evaluate potential gaps as needed
- Assist ERT Team with daily Safety Walk in Production Area
- Support Site Wide Chemical Inventory, PPE Assessments and perform ERGO Evaluations
- Update and Improve EHS processes/training
- Attend EHS team meetings and support project work and tasks as appropriate
Student qualities we're seeking for this internship assignment:
- Junior/Senior currently pursuing bachelor's degree; EHS/Occupational Health & Safety/Industrial Hygiene; or related major
- Relevant coursework preferred
- MS Office
- Previous internship experience a plus!
Internship Program Requirements:
- Available to work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment
- Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university (undergrad program)
- 3.0 minimum GPA
