Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a General Manager located in Guadalajara, North Site.
The General Manager is responsible for managing the manufacturing site operation and ensuring that production, quality, safety, and cost targets are met. The General Manager is accountable for maintaining efficient production operations to meet internal and customer demand. This role focuses on achieving high levels of forecast accuracy and effectively managing manufacturing costs aligned with overall manufacturing capacity. This role requires a strategic leader who can effectively manage multi-functional team resources, optimize operational processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize overall manufacturing performance.

- Accountable for delivering a One Flex customer experience, providing proven quality customer solutions on budget and on time and in full in a fast-paced & safe environment.
- Responsible for ensuring all new projects and products are delivered on cost, on time, and up to quality standards enabling the highest customer satisfaction.
- Manage the planning and execution of the entire product lifecycle, from new product launch to end-of-life, ensuring alignment with production capacities and customer demand.
- Support the Commercial and internal teams to ensure products are quoted properly to support business sustainability and profitability.
- Collaborate with internal site and commercial teams to develop accurate forecasts & manufacturing build plans aligned with production capacity requirements, avoiding negative impacts on the P&L, and maximizing resource allocation and overall profitability.
- Leads the site in using Lean and Quality Improvement methodologies and tools (e.g., value stream mapping, Kaizen, Charters, 5S, Gemba walks, problem-solving, Six Sigma) to consistently drive operational improvement.
- Accountable for attracting, retaining, inspiring, coaching, and developing talent across the organization.
- Accountable for the accurate estimation of manufacturing capacity, production & materials control, warehousing & site facilities, equipment maintenance, and other manufacturing support activities.
- Functional responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, Engineering, Procurement, Facilities, Materials Management, Quality, Warehousing and logistics, Business Excellence, cross-functional Human Resources, and Financial responsibility.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management or related field
- Advanced experience of P&L, leadership in engineering, production, operations, supply chain, Program Management or related management experience in a manufacturing/industrial industry.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Advanced knowledge in Lean Manufacturing/Management
- Advanced knowledge in budgeting and business financial planning
- Knowledge in Information Technology applied to manufacturing (AI/AR/ML/Big Data).
- Knowledge of Accounting practices and rules. A clear understanding of Flex and business compliance requirements in the areas of SOX/Ethics/Cyber Security/International Trade
