To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Junior Support Engineer (L2) located in Guadalajara, North Site.

Reporting to the IT Manager, Junior Support Engineer (L2) role will be responsible of ensure the solutions are implemented as per architecture design, investigate and explore integrations with other systems and recognize end-users requirements. Be reference and escalation path of hold up teams and provide guidance to resolve issues and follow policies. Main focus is to guide hold up teams, ensure the technologies are been properly delivered as designed, recognize new requirements to feedback to solution architects to continuously adjust the technology to provide the proper service.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Work as part of the Contribution team. Participate in the planning stages and deployment of contribution solutions such as Office 365, Zoom, as well as other unified contribution systems not listed.
  • Monitor and secure systems to guarantee performance and security.
  • Work with Corporate Operations teams to ensure adherence to policy and procedure.
  • Develop solutions, and define the proper documentation to transfer the L2 and help to other groups as necessary
  • Ensure service level performance of contribution systems.
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems of contribution systems by defining the root cause of the problems and work to define the best solution and improvements to avoid recurrence. Recommend and implement proper configuration and change management processes.
  • Configure co-existence and integration to provide a seamless service delivery to the users regardless of the set of multiple tools used on the backend.
  • Work on policies to be followed by all Flex Sites, with the purpose to have more standard and better contribution platform
  • Implement and help DR solutions as required for the platforms
  • Work on new technology evaluation and implementation according to the requirements
  • Provide L2 help and receive escalations of problems that could not be solved for local sites or Corporate Distributed System help

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience
  • Must be able to read, write and speak in English easily.
  • Demonstrates a general knowledge of functional concepts and a rudimentary comprehension of Flex policies and procedures. Has awareness of the functional impact upon work processes and other functions
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates in organization.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to resolve appropriate action.
