We are seeking a Manager of Strategic Initiatives – Office of the CEO to drive high-impact projects directly tied to our CEO's priorities. This role will report to the Chief of Staff to the CEO and requires a blend of strategic insight, execution discipline, and strong communication skills to deliver outputs that inform decisions at the highest levels. This role is based from our Corporate headquarters in Austin, TX.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Gather and synthesize industry and competitive insights to prepare the CEO for leadership and external meetings.
  • Develop clear, impactful presentations, briefing materials, and external speaking briefs that help tell Flex's story.
  • Collaborate quickly and effectively across functions to collect inputs and turn them into decision-ready recommendations.
  • Support enterprise goal-setting and tracking, ensuring priorities remain clear and measurable.
  • Conduct early-stage assessments of potential M&A or partnership opportunities to inform CEO discussions.
  • Stay connected to relevant industry forums and events, surfacing insights and opportunities for engagement.
  • Identify emerging opportunities or risks and frame them in a way that drives executive discussion.
  • Ensure projects and initiatives connected to CEO priorities move forward with speed and clarity.
     

The experience we are looking to add to our team:

  • Experience in consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or related high-impact roles.
  • Strong research, synthesis, and communication skills; ability to turn complexity into clarity.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft executive-level presentations, briefs, and materials that drive impact.
  • Skilled collaborator able to navigate cross-functional teams with credibility and speed.
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, high-stakes environments with a bias for action

Some of our preferred experiences:

  • Exposure to technology, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
  • Experience preparing executives for external or customer-facing meetings.
  • Familiarity with data-driven tools, analytics, or AI-enabled research approaches
