We are looking for a new Material Planner colleague to be based in Warrington.

What a typical day looks like:

• Control stock levels in relation to product support lifecycles
• Minimize “stock outs” to meet customer performance delivery targets
• Manage and minimize excess stock to  target  levels  by  identifying  and  managing  the  safety  stock  levels  for  each commodity
• Select best method of forecasting and recommend purchases to achieve optimum inventory levels
• Issue, monitor and report accuracy for vendor forecasts
• Identify and report both internally and externally risk associated with product portfolio.

The experience we are looking to add to the team:

• At least GCSE level qualification
• Some experience working in a planning role and in the usage of forecasting systems, such as Xelus
• A good understanding of business processes particularly relating    to    service    parts    planning,    supply    chain optimisation, repair operations and reverse logistics
• High level of IT literacy including advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills & good eye for detail to ensure data accuracy
• Eligibility to work in the UK
