The Process Engineer will be responsible for supporting a highly automated, 24/7 medical manufacturing facility with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Support manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, Yield, Scrap and Downtime
- Establish and improve robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters.
- Capability to independently or together with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
- High level participation in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues.
- Support equipment repair activities.
- Understand the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques, and the product.
- Support the creation and implementation engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Develop, implement, and take ownership of process control methodologies.
- Support equipment validations.
- Troubleshoot process related issues.
- Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.
- Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products.
- Development and implementation of work instructions
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
- Support upgrades to equipment.
- Presentation/reporting to management as required.
- Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel.
- Define, Implement, and evaluate proposed design updates and processes.
Here is some of what you'll need:
- BS Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience
- 3 years' experience in a technology-based industry, where automated assembly techniques are utilized.
- 2 years' experience working with manufacturing of medical devices.
- Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering experience working in high-volume assembly processes.
- Knowledge of automated equipment systems and tools - robotic, vision, material handling, Conveyors, PLC, HMI, Pick-Place-Pack, Inspection/Test
- Excellent verbal, written and critical thinking skills.
