Job summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Product Engineer located in Aguascalientes.

Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager, this role involves responsible for receiving, evaluating, cleaning, and customizing all technical information / documentation from the customer related to their product, derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or a design change to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity

What a typical day looks like:

• Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques, and the product.
• Define, implement, and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
• Have the capability to singly or with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.
• Hold up the raising and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs).
• Review product drawings and product tolerancing to ensure product performance requirements are met.
• Develop and implement BOM management processes and best practices.
• Maintain documentation and records related to BOMs.
• Support engineering change orders (ECO) and manage BOM revisions.
• Prepare reports and presentations on BOM status and metrics.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to BOM management.
• Develop, implement, and take ownership of process control methodologies.
• Implement statistical process research on new and existing products.
• Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor' degree in Engineering Electrical/Electronic, Industrial, Mechanical or equivalent.
• Junior experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Proficiency in BOM management software
