Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we're calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Production Control Supervisor located in Guadalajara.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Control Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating production planning and execution, ensuring material availability, monitoring production performance, and leading a team to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Coordinate daily production schedules based on customer demand and manufacturing capacity.
  • Ensure material availability to support uninterrupted production operations.
  • Monitor production output, downtime, efficiency, and On-Time Delivery (OTD) metrics.
  • Lead and supervise production control personnel and planners.
  • Collaborate with Materials, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Warehouse teams.
  • Analyze production performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Follow up on shortages, inventory discrepancies, and production constraints.
  • Maintain production planning data and ERP system accuracy.
  • Support inventory accuracy initiatives and cycle count activities.
  • Prepare and present production reports, KPIs, and action plans to management.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects focused on productivity and operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operating procedures.
  • Escalate production risks and develop corrective actions to minimize impact.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) and production transfers as required.
  • Monitor workforce allocation and production priorities to meet customer requirements.

 

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • BA/BS in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in materials planning, purchasing, or supply chain.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).
  • Advanced Excel and ERP systems skills.
  • Availability to support quarterly inventory counts.
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic, high-volume production environments.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Supports high-volume mechanical manufacturing operations.
  • Ensures material availability and continuity of production.
  • Drives data accuracy and process efficiency across supply chain functions.
