Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we're looking to add a Quality Engineering Intern located in our Dallas, Texas site.

Reporting to the OPEX Manager, the Intern the student will assist the Quality Team with projects impacting yields, performance and supporting Quality Systems, Suppliers, Auditing, Manufacturing, Mass Production and NPI. 

What a typical day looks like:

  • Involvement with different Quality areas (Supplier Quality, Material Review Board (MRB), Quality Systems, Manufacturing Quality Engineering, NPI (New Product Introduction)
  • Analyze data and process flow procedures
  • Research and create various reports and procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with Engineering Teams to address Quality issues related to suppliers and products, auditing results and overall improvement of KPI's
  • Attend team meetings and support project work as needed

Student qualities we're seeking for this internship assignment:

  • Junior/Senior student pursuing Mechanical/Industrial Engineering major
  • Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
  • Minitab or Statistical Software and basic concepts on Quality Core Tools and Management system
  • Lean/Six Sigma helpful
  • MS Office Suite
  • Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills
  • Previous Quality related internship experience a plus!

Internship Program Requirements:

  • Available to work 40 hours/week for a 10-12 week Summer assignment (in-person)
  • Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
  • 3.0 minimum GPA
