Job SummarySenior Facility Manager

In Hungary Flex operates in 7 cities – Budapest, Gyál, Üllő, Nyíregyháza, Sárvár, Tab, Zalaegerszeg – with around 10 000 employees.
We are looking for a Senior Facility Manager to join our organization in Zalaegerszeg. Reporting to the Regional Facilities Manager, the Senior Facility Manager role involves the responsibility for managing, coordinating, and overseeing various functions of the facilities organization for the 3 Manufacturing Sites in Zalaegerszeg.
What a typical day looks like:
- Responsible for the maintenance of office, manufacturing, warehouse, truck yards, parking, and landscaped areas and equipment and housekeeping of the aforementioned facilities
- Responsible for alteration of office, manufacturing, warehouse, truck yards, parking, and landscaped areas and all equipment within the buildings, as well as layouts, arrangements, as required by business
- Identify and supervise implementation of energy saving projects, cost reduction and cost avoidance projects
- Coordinate, manage and direct the design, planning, construction and alteration of building and building structures, equipment, machinery, - and other facilities infrastructures
- Plan, budget and schedule various facilities modifications, including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts and contracts for construction and rentals
- Responsible for tracking performance over the lifetime of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems, lighting and all other facility equipment.
- Act as liaison to public utility, environmental and energy agencies
- Inspect plant and evaluate use of space and facilities
- Respomsible for the building regulatory complaince
- Coordinate and guide EHS team per business needs, seeking 100% compliance
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- 8 years of experience in Facilities Engineering or any related field
- 3-5 years of experience in managerial level position
- Experience in leading Facility and EHS services in a manufacturing environment (with a population not less than 500 employees)
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field (Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering)
- Negotiation level of English and fluency in Hungarian
- Strong analytical & decision making skills
- Excellent people and process management skills
