Job Summary

Job summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Technical Program Manager located in one of our Flex locations in Hungary or Romania.

Reporting to the Business Exellence Director, the Technical Program Manager is responsible for continuously  driving automation deployment across focus sites in EMEA, actively searching for improvement potential (be it process or equipment).  The Technical Program Manager will promote a culture of excellence in the organization, coaching and enabling waste removal activities using lean and six sigma approaches and tools and guiding actions to a sustainable conclusion.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Work as focal point to ensure that standard automation happens according to agreed timing
  • Actively manage automation projects
  • Act as a change and standardization (process&equipment) agent, driving lean and six sigma activities
  • Responsible for eliminating waste and creating value by reducing variation in the processes to achieve sustainable results throughout the organization and segment.
  • Utilize Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) techniques, initiate process improvements, cycle time reductions, cost reductions and other activities aimed at reducing/eliminating non-value-added activities in the process.
  • Drive and yokoten the identified Best practices based on the agreed timelines.
  • Create and validate processes/standards based on standard work and BPs.
  • Actively participate in the selection and executions of lean and six sigma projects.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in Process Excellence and Project Management
  • Manufacturing background
  • High proficiency in English and Hungarian
  • Ability to work with internal teams as well as external customers
  • Willingness to travel across Europe
  • Demonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses
  • Power to successfully influence senior level management, executives and key clients
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Talent to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents
  • Skill to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management
