The Sr Manager, Brand Marketing manages our brand strategy and messaging efforts. This role will continually define and evolve our brand's voice, identity, and strategic positioning across various markets and audiences. The Sr Manager will work cross-functionally to ensure cohesive storytelling, create compelling brand content, and elevate the brand's perception to drive engagement and loyalty.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy Development and National Brand Campaign Management:
  • Manage the optimization and implementation of a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with business objectives
  • Partner with agency and also work internally to plan, strategize and execute marketing campaigns and activities and translate into on-brand content that maintains brand presence in market, drives engagement, and builds brand awareness, favorability and consideration.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and consumer insights to identify new opportunities for brand positioning
  • Lead production process for new creative development for TV and digital advertising by working closely externally with agency partner and internally cross-functionally (with Merchandising, Inventory, Store Ops, etc.) throughout the entire process from shoot to creative materials delivery to media outlets.
  • Launch and oversee advertising. Work closely with social, digital and on/off air media teams for management of content through all channels and media outlets
  • Work with Marketing Analytics to measure brand marketing activations by establishing and analyzing KPIs
  • Use data and insights to refine and improve brand communications continuously
  • Provide monthly financial forecast and budget recaps       
  • Messaging Strategy and Brand Content:
  • Manage and optimize a messaging framework and communications plan that resonates with target audiences across touchpoints that communicates our brand value proposition consistently and authentically
  • Partner with Creative, Product Marketing, Digital Marketing and teams across the organization to embed brand strategy and voice to ensure alignment in messaging across platforms
  • Lead the development and execution of top and mid funnel marketing campaigns that communicate the brand story effectively 
  • Manage the New Store Marketing Program for a successful launch of all new store locations
  • Develop and manage a strategic playbook for a templated approach to new store marketing based on market type
  • Manage development of media plans and placement of media buys across all channels
  • Responsible for managing and allocating the annual new store marketing budget per channel to effectively execute developed marketing strategy.
  • Work cross-functionally with Real Estate and other teams to develop and implement marketing plans
  • Test and learn into new media channels to reach target audiences effectively and efficiently
  • Construct and communicate comprehensive program updates and reports to Marketing, Real Estate and Executive leadership
  • Oversee support staff
  • Identify junior staff/direct report strengths and areas for improvement. Develop opportunities for growth and aspirational goals that align company objectives with individual career paths

Requirements

Education and Experience
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
Years of Experience
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in brand marketing or related marketing experience
Skills
  • Skills (Required) - Expert understanding of effective marketing strategies, materials and channels
  • Significant experience conceptualizing and creating multiplatform content
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and demonstrated interpersonal skills to work well as part of a cross-functional team
  • Skills (Preferred / Desired) - Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office
  • Additional Qualifications (behavioral traits, certifications, etc.) - You are highly productive, self-motivated, creative, and focused, and have excellent communication skills. You love to learn and embrace a rapidly changing marketplace. You are passionate about marketing and being part of a team developing breakthrough brand programs and experiences for our consumers.
Physical Requirements
Corporate - Remote - General office environment requiring ability to:
  • Stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time .
  • Speak and listen to others in person and over the phone and video conferencing.
  • Use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports.
  • The ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
