This position is responsible for creating business insights and analytics in support of payment integrity strategy development. Providing high level consultation to clinical and business stakeholders. Designing and producing datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools. Performing research and analyzing data related to the division's strategic initiatives and broader research needs. Leading the team to design and generate tools to be leveraged in building analysis and reports which are actionable within the business environment. Working closely with customers to build strategic relationships; and continuously gaining a deeper understanding of the division's data to meet business needs. Analyzing complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide strategic business insight to decision-makers. Identifying and interpreting trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.

Required Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Applied Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Data Science etc) and 6 years of experience in relevant field OR Master's degree with 4 years of experience OR PhD with 2 years of experience. 
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical software (SQL, Python, R, etc.). 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • High degree of business intelligence and understanding how to take a business case from inception to client execution.  
  • Ability to work under pressure and delivery high quality output to senior leadership to decision making within short timeline. 
  • Performance excellence in championing initiatives and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to bring the initiative to life. 

Preferred Job Qualifications: 

  • Experience in the healthcare industry, especially the health insurance sector.
  • Experience with payment integrity concepts, processes, and strategies.
  • Proficiency with SQL, PowerBI.
  • Experience with Databricks.
  • Experience with AI, machine learning and/or statistical modeling.

Compensation: $82,700.00 - $149,300.00

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location
