What Does the National Accounts Sales Enablement & Support Role Entail?

This position will under the National Accounts Sales Enablement & Sales Support team and is responsible for learning specific aspects of the Sales and Account Management operations in order to provide market-leading service to internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include assisting in or supporting the National Account Sales and Account Management personnel in the prospecting, maintaining, acquiring and/or renewing of business.

There will be a strong focus on developing client retention and sales strategies, while researching and uncovering market opportunities. In additional, team members are encouraged to cultivate relationships with internal business partners and to network with peers and Senior Leaders to support the National Account Sales and Account Management team.

What Are Your Responsibilities?

  • Support Sales/Account Management personnel to assist in prospecting, acquiring or retaining business. 

  • May conduct research for prospective business by internal sources, external agencies, or reviewing RFPs. 

  • Research inquiries received from customers, Brokers, or company representatives and assist in problem solving. 

  • Relay information to Sales or Account Management personnel or responds directly to customer or company representative promptly.

  • May coordinate meetings.

  • Prepare documentation for prospective or existing customers. Review forms received for completeness. 

  • Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies. 

  • Maintain complete confidentiality of company business. 

  • Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested. 

What Are the Requirements You Must Meet? 

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, health care, economics, public relations, communications, business or a related field, higher degrees may be considered. 

  • Graduation date between December 2024 – June 2025

  • A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0

  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. (Currently, we are not offering this program under OPT or CPT or sponsoring work visas for these roles)

What Do You Need To Be Successful?

  • Previous intern or work experience in the following fields is a plus: Sales Account Management, Healthcare, Project Management/Coordination OR Public Relations Experience

  • Health insurance knowledge, or interest in learning about the health insurance industry.

  • Interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills; telephone, public relations, and customer skills; composing presentations, summarizing findings, and public speaking.

  • Ability to learn quickly and provide feedback; represent company in sales or account management.

  • PC proficiency with Office 365.
