Essential Duties:
- Demonstrates the competencies of a welder I
- Must be AWS certified in aluminum 6061 and 5052
- 3G-.050/.063/.125 TIG
- 3G-.125/.250 MIG
- Must be AWS certified in current steel production
- 3G-18Ga& 10Ga TIG
- 3F-.18Ga & 10Ga TIG/MIG
- Must be AWS certified in structural steel production-.281 wall to 2.25 bar stock (towbar)
- 1F-.031 TIG/MIG
- 1G-.031 fillet TIG
- Must be AWS certified in all current stainless production
- 3G-22Ga & 18Ga TIG
- Able to operate the Jetline welder
- Performs operator maintenance on equipment
- Accurately reports shop floor production data via computer terminal and/or written reporting
- Follows both visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted
- Performs cycle counting of parts and material handling duties as required
- Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Adheres to all quality and safety standards
- Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:
- High School diploma or GED preferred. In lieu of preferred diploma, relevant work experience demonstrating the required job skills and abilities needed to successfully perform the job
- 1-3 years of industry related experience
- Must be able to speak, read and understand English
- Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
- Ability to obtain AWS Certification in all above welding areas
- Operation of small power tools, other hand tools and computerized and high-pressure equipment
- Goal oriented and team focused to ensure completion of projects in a timely manner
