We're Hiring Cashiers! 

Love helping people and creating a great shopping experience? We're looking for friendly, dependable Cashiers to join the Hobby Lobby team! 

As a Cashier at Hobby Lobby, you have the opportunity to make a great first impression and help create a welcoming experience from the moment a customer walks through the door to the moment they leave. 

Starting full-time range - $21.00  -  $22.00 per hour

Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 9am to 8pm and we are CLOSED ON SUNDAY! 

What you'll do: 

• Cashiers provide assistance to our customers by processing payments, operating point-of-sale (POS) systems, and delivering fast and friendly customer service. 

Cashiers are usually the first and last person a customer sees, so their presentation can leave a lasting impression. 

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer basic questions 
• Basic math skills for handling money and making change
• Enter/scan items and verify prices
• Accept cash, credit, debit, and digital payments
• Count change and issue accurate receipts
• Balance and reconcile registers at end of shift
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized and in-stock

Requirements

• Must have a pleasant and professional demeanor
• Attention to detail for accurate transactions
• Ability to stand for long periods 
• Ability to lift a minimum of forty (40) pounds
• Flexible schedule often including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be mature and self-motivated
• Previous experience in the craft or hobby field is preferred, but not necessary
