Description

Full-time Hobby Lobby International Import Entry Specialists enjoy the following:

• Starting wage of $20.00 an hour
• Monday through Friday work week
• In-Office hours of 7:30-4:30 every day

With key attention to detail, Import Entry Specialists are responsible for various tasks to assist in the facilitation of the timely, compliant Post Summary Correction filing with U.S. Customs, as well as assist in auditing, communication, and execution of related processes to ensure compliance with import regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review entry documents to request Pre-Summary or Post Summary Corrections
• Work with customs broker on submission of Post Summary Correction to U.S. Customs
• Audit and manage customs broker Post Summary reports
• Process and document Increased Duty Bills and ACH refund payments from U.S. Customs
• Collaborate with internal import compliance teams on entry issues
• Maintain reports in both internal and external applications/platforms
• Leverage research tools, systems, and reference materials to provide accurate and consistent information to broker
• Assist and support department internal and external needs

Education & Experience

• Combination of 2 + years' work experience or education in related field
• 2 years of work experience in the retail import or customs brokerage atmosphere preferred
