Description

The ideal candidate will provide high level compliance and administrative support to the legal department and report directly to the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel.  This position will be located in our corporate office in downtown St. Louis.   

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing & timely submitting Corporate Filings, Annual Reports, Professional Registrations, Change of Registered Agents, etc.
  • Administrative support for corporate governance and compliance record keeping. 
  • Provide high level administrative support to entire Legal Department.
  • Process and track invoices for legal services. 
  • Administrative support for Company-managed employee stock program, including but not limited to, issuing communications to employee shareholders and assist in the preparation of plan documents. 
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for members of Legal Department. 
  • Provide back-up support to Contracts Administrator in procuring Certificates of Insurance. 
  • Schedule appointments, draft/edit correspondence and prepare expense reports.
  • Arrange meetings and other corporate functions. 
  • Maintain and keep professional licenses and memberships up to date for team members including monitoring continuing legal education requirements and obtaining bar approval for continuing education courses, if required.
  • Takes personal responsibility for fostering a green workplace through sustainable work practices.
  • Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. 
  • 5 plus years of prior legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department setting.
  • Must be a Notary Public.
