Description
Assist the manager in the management of the Central Sterile Supply department. They will retrieve contaminated instruments along with supplies and deliver sterilized instruments and supplies from/to appropriate units and departments of the hospital. Selects and implements appropriate decontamination techniques to decontaminate.# Maintains an adequate inventory of current sterile instruments, supplies and linens in the surgical areas, including appropriate departments. This position will assume the role of setting up#orders along with processing them when needed in the CSS department. Additional roles include preparing and presenting staff meetings, in-services, and ensuring staff members#maintain certification. Other roles and responsibilities may be added at leadership discretion.
