The Holyoke Visiting Nurse Association # Hospice is in search of a qualified Director of Hospice to join the organization.##The Director of Hospice provides the interpretation and practical application of regulations and policies as they relate to the hospice program. Maintains open communication with the staff.#Informs staff of agency goals and enforces methods to achieve goals. #Informs administration team of staff concerns. Represents and promotes the Agency and the Hospice Life Care Program to the local community under the direction of the Executive Director. Qualifications: Education: Broad knowledge of nursing and administration.# BSN required, Masters preferred Experience: Minimum of Three (3) years of nursing experience.# One (1) to three (3) years of experience in community health nursing and a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience are preferred. Strong knowledge of hospice care regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices.
