The Howard University College of Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology provides individualized, evidenced based care for women through its innovative treatment programs and seeks a highly qualified and motivated Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist to join our academic team. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research, train the next generation of specialists, and provide outstanding, quality patient care.
Our MFM program offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient services to include perinatal consultations, genetic counseling, and prenatal care for patients with high-risk pregnancies.
Our Prenatal Diagnosis and Ultrasound Center offers all current diagnostic procedures, such as routine and targeted sonographic examination, amniocentesis, chronic villus sampling, fetal blood sampling and fetal transfusion.
Our program's mission is to advance healthcare, improve outcomes, and shape the future of maternal and fetal care.
Qualifications:
- Board certified or active candidate status for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Fellowship trained in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
- Interest in working with a diverse patient population.
- In pursuit of an academic career and interested in resident and student teaching, entering at either an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered care and providing compassionate support to families.
