Position Overview:


The Business Analyst, Operations will use data to analyze and understand business performance, develop insights and trends, and summarize report findings for the ID Logistics and our customers leadership teams.  This role is primarily data driven and analytics-oriented, requiring the ability to synthesize complex data, and developing findings, and present them in clear, impactful reports that guide strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in Power BI and Excel with experience creating dashboards.


 


Location: Ruskin, FL


Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift


Travel Specifics: Based on Business Needs


Competitive Compensation: Attractive annual salary of $75,000-$85,000 plus a performance-based bonus


 


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead big data analysis and summation of such data into graphical and other meaningful displays.

  • Own the creation, development, and updates of ongoing analyses, dashboards, and reporting required to validate and support business decisions.

  • Manage new and/or updated reporting needs from request to completed customer-facing product.

  • Establish collaborative partnership with senior leadership at each site from Managers to General Managers to develop, template, and execute successful financial and performance-related reporting.

  • Identify and confirm with IT and Internal Systems Teams auto-generated reporting options as well as data visibility needs that require ongoing review.

  • Prepare the monthly billing and validate with the customer.

  • Monitor contractual KPIs and SLAs to advise, council, and rectify challenges faced by the operation.

  • Effectively collaborate with the customer regarding ad-hoc projects and analyses and consult on key findings. 

  • Manage, design, and own budgetary activities for internal and external review.

  • Work as a liaison between Finance and Operations to close financial gaps and highlight major risks within the current activities.

  • Assist the Finance team with weekly, monthly financial forecasting.

Qualifications

Minimal Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of Power BI and Tableau experience.
  • Portfolio of work greatly encouraged upon application.
  • Strong data analysis skills required.
  • Five years of related or relevant experience in financial or business analysis required.
  • Ability to communicate, understand, and read statistical and graphical representations of data a must.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, project management skills, and exceptional organizational skills required. 
  • Expert proficiency in MS Office and high level of computer literacy required.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Able to work independently with competing objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills a must.
  • Flexibility with work schedule and hours required when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience in a similar role preferred.
  • 3PL or Warehouse experience a plus.
