Position Description:


ID Logistics US is seeking an experienced Manager, Immigration Programs and Compliance to oversee all U.S. immigration and global mobility activities. This highly visible role ensures full compliance with immigration laws while enabling the organization to strategically attract, sponsor, and retain top global talent.


The successful candidate will be a trusted subject matter expert with deep knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, employment-based visa categories, and compliance processes. This position requires strong collaboration with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Legal, and external immigration counsel to deliver a seamless, compliant, and high-quality immigration experience for candidates and employees.


Work Location: Johns Creek area of Atlanta area or open to fully remote.


Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with the ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed for emergencies or critical business needs.


Compensation/Benefits: Attractive annual salary of $110,000-$120,000 plus bonus with benefits including PTO, sick time, corporate holidays, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more.


This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities

Immigration Program Leadership



  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on all U.S. immigration matters, providing guidance to employees, candidates, HR teams, Talent Acquisition, and key business stakeholders.

  • Lead the execution of ID Logistics’ U.S. Inbound Global Mobility Program (USIGMP) and ensure alignment with the organization’s business and expansion objectives.

  • Partner with HR leadership and external counsel to develop and maintain policies, templates, and processes for sponsorship, extensions, and permanent residency.


Immigration Case Management



  • Manage all aspects of employment-based immigration cases in partnership with external counsel, including H-1B, L-1, TN, E, O, J-1, F-1 OPT/STEM OPT, and EB-1–EB-3 petitions.

  • Oversee PERM labor certifications, visa transfers, extensions, and consular processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

  • Act as the central point for collecting and validating documentation from U.S. and international entities to support case filings and audits.

  • Maintain meticulous records and manage all Public Access Files (PAFs), I-9 documentation, and E-Verify compliance.


Compliance and Audit Readiness



  • Ensure strict adherence to USCIS, DOL, and DHS regulations governing immigration and employment eligibility.

  • Conduct internal audits and readiness checks, partnering with HR site leaders to correct deficiencies proactively.

  • Develop and deliver compliance training for HR partners and managers on sponsorship eligibility, documentation standards, and immigration timelines.


Stakeholder Partnership & Communication



  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to assess sponsorship eligibility early in the hiring process and to align offer letters and timelines.

  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Tax to ensure immigration processes support global mobility and compensation alignment.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for foreign national employees, providing clear, empathetic communication and guidance throughout the immigration lifecycle.


Data Management and Reporting



  • Oversee immigration data integrity within the case management platform.

  • Track visa expirations, renewal timelines, and cost utilization.

  • Provide quarterly reporting to leadership on immigration trends, sponsorship volume, and compliance metrics.


Process Improvement & Education



  • Continually assess and refine internal immigration workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience.

  • Stay current on immigration law changes and provide proactive guidance to stakeholders.

  • Champion continuous learning through periodic updates and educational sessions for internal HR and TA teams.




Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Legal Studies, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 4–6 years of professional experience managing U.S. immigration processes, with strong knowledge of both nonimmigrant and immigrant visa categories.
  • Proven experience partnering with external immigration counsel and managing high-volume sponsorship programs.
  • Proficiency with immigration case management platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage sensitive, high-stakes information.
  • Strong analytical ability to assess risk, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting global mobility or relocation programs within a multinational organization.
  • Background in logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain environments with site-based workforces.
  • Deep appreciation for cultural diversity and global collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, educate, and build trust across cross-functional and international teams.
