Position Overview:


The Sr. Manager Support Start Up Operations maintains and supports new business startups. They must have knowledge of Warehouse process, set up, configuration, computer software, hardware, RF equipment and a variety of internet applications. The ideal candidate will have great troubleshooting abilities. Project management and attention to detail for multiple ongoing projects. The goal is to build and maintain efficient operational performance within the warehouse to optimize the role of technology on business sustainability in a 3PL packaging and fulfillment warehouse.


 


Work Location: Nation wide. On-Site role with opportunity to work from home when possible. 


Work Schedule: First Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm


Work Travel: Up to 50% domestic travel. 


Competitive Total Rewards Package:  Attractive annual salary of $125,000 - $135,000 plus a performance-based bonus, with benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more.


 


Responsibilities:



  • Oversee daily IT start up operations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the IT startup team, ensuring staff are trained, motivated, and equipped to perform their roles effectively

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Manage projects effectively

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by setting and maintaining service standards.

  • Act as an escalation point for complex or high-priority issues.

  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.



  • Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance

  • Perform system trouble shooting and analysis of warehouse operational equipment and systems

  • Develop strategies for short- and long-term goals to meet or exceed expectations of the warehouse operations

  • Own the relationship with between technical operations and production operations

  • Package software installations on many computers at a time

  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems

  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems

  • Set up support of workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)

  • Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality

  • Install and configure support of appropriate software and functions according to specifications

  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment

  • Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule

  • Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders

  • Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed.

  • Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT support, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL or other service management frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
  • Experience with warehouse systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Travel required 50%
