Position Overview:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for supporting daily customer service operations within the distribution center by managing shipping and receiving activities, processing billing and invoicing, and resolving customer inquiries or discrepancies. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, warehouse operations, and internal management while ensuring timely, accurate, and professional communication in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Competitive Total Rewards:
Competitive hourly pay of $20.50/hour plus $1.00/hour shift differential, along with comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, sick time, and company holidays. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage shipping and receiving activities within warehouse management systems in partnership with site leadership.
- Process billing and invoicing accurately while meeting tight turnaround timelines.
- Investigate and resolve billing, invoicing, shipping, and receiving discrepancies with customers and internal teams.
- Provide daily communication with customers, operations teams, and management through email, phone, and in-person interactions.
- Serve as a liaison between warehouse operations and customers regarding account administration, invoicing, and credit changes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to customer transactions and shipments.
- Support customer inquiries, special requests, and issue resolution in a professional and timely manner.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Transportation, and Leadership teams to support service excellence.
- Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and report noncompliance when observed.
- Observe all company safety policies and assist in maintaining a safe work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service, administrative, logistics, or warehouse support experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or 3PL environment.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), shipping, receiving, billing, or invoicing processes.
- Experience handling customer accounts and resolving customer concerns.
- Familiarity with inventory control and transportation coordination processes.
