**Job Title: PRN Caregiver**
**Location:** Sparks, NV
**Department:** AL/MC
**Employment Type:** PRN (as needed)
**Pay Rate: $18
**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality personal care and support to clients in their homes or facilities. This position requires a patient and empathetic individual who is committed to improving the quality of life for those in their care. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide personal care services that may include assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Support clients with mobility assistance, transfers, and positioning as needed.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' physical and emotional well-being to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for clients.
- Engage clients in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities to promote their physical and emotional health.
- Collaborate with family members and other team members to ensure continuity of care and address client needs effectively.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to protect clients and themselves.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in caregiving or relevant training preferred.
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role, demonstrating knowledge of personal care best practices.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor towards clients and their families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions when necessary.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, if applicable.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to lift and move clients, as well as assist with mobility.
- Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of handling physical tasks associated with caregiving duties.
