**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dining Room Supervisor to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our dining area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a commitment to providing a fantastic dining experience for our guests. As a Dining Room Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring excellent service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and optimizing dining room efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Supervision and Leadership:** Train, supervise, and motivate dining room staff to deliver exceptional service. Schedule staff assignments and manage workflow to ensure efficiency.
- **Customer Service:** Greet guests, manage reservations, and address customer inquiries and concerns to ensure complete satisfaction.
- **Operational Management:** Monitor daily dining room operations, including cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards. Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
- **Quality Control:** Ensure that food and beverage presentation meets company standards and that all service protocols are followed.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery, communicate guest preferences, and implement new menu items as necessary.
- **Event Coordination:** Assist in planning and executing special events and private parties, collaborating with management to enhance guest experiences.
- **Reporting:** Prepare reports on dining room operations, including guest feedback, staff performance, and any operational challenges to present to management.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or restaurant management is a plus.
- Minimum [2-3] years of experience in a restaurant or dining environment, with a focus on supervisory roles.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards, health and safety regulations, and customer service best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and lead a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Proficient in point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications; familiarity with reservation systems is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
