What are we looking for?

The Field Supervisor is responsible for supervision of the field-testing technicians; technical, quality assurance, and project management; implementation of all pertinent PSI quality assurance programs; technical training; and obtaining necessary resources to support the field activities.  Must be computer literate and possess basic management and financial skills.  Requires a high school diploma/GED and valid/current state driver's license. Additional specialized training is desired.  Requires certification by ACI, NICET, DOT, or other agencies, as appropriate to the testing. Requires 5+ years of field experience.  Must have the physical ability to perform field technician duties in either a training or production mode.  This position will travel at least 50% of the time.

Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday, occasionally Saturday

Wage & Benefits Information

The base wage for this position is $25 - $30. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you'll do:

• Document and maintain training records for all field technicians
• Document and maintain equipment calibrations and records
• Repair concrete testing equipment
• Train field technicians on jobsites
• Take lead for all internal and external audits and accreditations with AASHTO, USACE, and DOTD
• Data entry

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

• Five or more years of field construction materials testing experience required
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Level I required
• Experience with a nuclear density gauge
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to travel 50% of the time
• Advanced computer skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record is required

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of field construction materials testing experience preferred
• ACI Aggregate Base Testing Technician - Level I preferred
• TWIC preferred
