Professional Service Industries, Inc. (Intertek-PSI) is a leading US based provider of construction assurance, testing and inspection in civil and commercial construction. Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical engineering services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.
What are we looking for?
The Project Specialist will perform assignments that include independent evaluations using standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in varying field/laboratory/office conditions. The Project Specialist must be able to use judgement in making minor adaptations and modifications to these standards.

What you'll do:
- Attends client site meetings as necessary
- Assist in supervising or coordinating work of technical support personnel
- Communicates effectively with client and project teams
- Familiarizes themselves with responsibilities of the Project Quality Management Procedures (QMP)
- Reviews and updates documents for maintenance and quality controls
- Maintains confidentiality regarding sensitive documents
- Establishes and maintains record retention timelines
- Oversees receipt of emails and ftp files and provide Document control services
- Resolves customer queries with the engineer
- Supervises timely distribution of documents and execution of procedures
- Supervises, tracks and issues documents and ensures documentation remains within compliance
- Coordinates with clients on provision and revision of documentation when necessary
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
- 12+ years' experience in QC/QA and the construction materials testing industry is required
- Must have the ability to travel overnight as needed
- Must have the ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines
- Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management
- Ability co communicate and interact effectively in verbally, written, and presentation formats
- Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record required
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:
- Thorough computer literacy and experience with document software such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Procore, or other cloud based document storage experience is preferred
- Industry Certifications are highly preferred
- ICC Soils
- ICC Reinforced Concrete
- ICC Masonry
- ICC Structural STeel and Bolting
- NICET Soils and Concrete
- ACI Concrete Field Technician I

The base wage or salary range for this position is $35k to $40k. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
