Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.
What are we looking for?
The Regional Director provides the day-to-day leadership, guidance and general management of a multi-site portfolio. This includes ensuring the business has proper operational controls, administrative / reporting procedures / people strategies in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength / operating efficiency.

What you'll do:
- Provide day-to-day oversight and guidance for Branches, OUs and Special Projects within an assigned region, and aligned with the TQA Customer Promise and core values of the company.
- P&L Management: Responsible for driving the business to achieve and exceed sales revenue and profitability for assigned region, including effective expense management.
- People Leadership: Create and motivate a high-performance team; Attract, recruit and retain team members.
- People Development: Mentor and develop staff; set appropriate goals and objectives, and support career development.
- Work & Workforce Planning: Ensure that all employees are trained and have the skills and capability for the job, including health & safety business processes.
- Equipment & Tools: Ensure that employees have the equipment, tools and systems to succeed in their job, and are trained on the right operating procedures.
- Execution of work: Identify and deploy performance metrics to ensure disciplined performance management.
- Monitor effectiveness of processes through development and reporting of agreed key performance indicators.
- Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the business.
- Client Relationships: Appropriately represent the business with clients and business partners, and act as a lead / role model.
- Collaborate with the CFO and senior leadership on forecasting, financial projections and analyses of existing programs and policies.
- Participate in technical trade or association meetings.
- Operational Business Relationships: Serve as a technical resource to management staff and major clients.
- Make business recommendations on capital expenditures and other initiatives.
- Assist with budgeting and resource allocation efforts alongside the management team.
- Ensure and drive effective Billing & Collections practices are in place in assigned region.
- Ensure all program initiatives align with the Company's core values and culture.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from accredited engineering/ABET school
- 8+ years' experience in an Operations Leadership role with the Company or Industry
- Experience working in the service sector, and within a multi-site environment
- Advanced organizational leadership skills
- Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record
- Excellent written, verbal and client-facing communication skills

- Ability to travel up to 35% as business needs dictate
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering from accredited engineering/ABET school
- PE License
- 5+ years' experience with client interactions and business development activities
