Job Title: SEO Manager

Location: Remote/Hybrid options

Job Summary:

SS&C Intralinks is looking for an experienced, data-driven SEO Manager to build and execute an SEO strategy that fuels trackable and measurable growth across our digital channels. As an individual contributor, this role will be responsible for leading our global SEO efforts, and driving growth in visitors, on-site engagement, MQLs, Opportunities and Wins from our organic search channel. 
 

The SEO Manager will work cross-functionally, with creative, web and growth marketing teams to create processes to ensure SEO best practices are embedded across all digital initiatives. This role requires a blend of hands-on technical SEO knowledge, content strategy expertise, project management, direct execution, leading by influence and the ability to translate complex analytics into actionable insights for executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute a comprehensive, enterprise-level SEO strategy that drives measurable traffic, onsite engagement and conversion to deliver marketing qualified leads, opportunities and ultimately, influenced win revenue.
  • Create and manage and an SEO Optimization process for all content creation, working in partnership with project management and content/copy to ensure that all content created is search optimized.
  • Develop, manage and at times directly execute an SEO-focused content calendar based on continual monitoring and analysis of our competitive landscape, search performance and market events, designed to fill content gaps and seize emerging opportunities to drive sustainable organic traffic.
  • Scale search strategies and activities globally, customizing approach to suit different markets, regions and countries, ensuring cultural and linguistic relevance.
  • Perform technical SEO audits and execute technical enhancements, ensuring our websites are primed for optimal crawling, indexing, and ranking. Stay at the forefront of SEO technologies and algorithm changes, adapting tactical execution to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Define and execute, in partnership with growth marketing and the paid media team, a comprehensive back-linking strategy to boost perceived site authority and Search Ranking.
  • Define and monitor key SEO performance metrics, providing regular, detailed reports to executive leadership. Leverage advanced analytics tools to assess and optimize SEO performance, translating data into actionable insights.
  • Lead through influence: Inspire a focus on SEO throughout the copy, content, creative and growth marketing teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Provide advanced training and support to cross-functional teams to deepen their understanding of SEO principles and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. SEO certifications (such as Google Analytics 4, SEMrush, or Ahrefs) are required.
  • 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience within an enterprise-level organization with demonstrable results.
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO including crawling, indexing, page speed optimization, and schema markup.
  • Advanced knowledge of analytics, data interpretation, and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience with CMS platforms (such as Drupal, Sitecore, or Adobe Experience Manager) and web development basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Expertise in guiding SEO-optimized content strategies, from topic ideation to keyword selection and content gap analysis.
  • Experience developing and managing SEO best-practices, working with content teams to drive SEO-aligned content production.
  • Proven track record of successful cross-functional collaboration, with experience working closely with product, content, UX/UI, and media teams.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex SEO strategies to executive leadership.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in adapting strategies based on changing SEO trends.
  • Leadership through influence, inspiring teams across the organization to prioritize and embrace SEO best practices.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to stay ahead of SEO trends, algorithm updates, and emerging technologies.
