The Stepping Stones Group is looking for caring LPNs to support students in Fairburn, GA. As a school based nurse, you'll provide essential health services that keep students safe, learning, and thriving.
What You'll Do
- Support chronic condition management
- Provide first aid and medication administration
- Assist with medical procedures as outlined in care plans
- Document care and communicate with school teams
- Help maintain a safe, health focused school environment
What We're Looking For
- Active LPN License
- Required Experience:
- Pediatric skillset
- Seizure management - competent with seizure action plans and rescue medications
- Tube feedings
- Oxygen and airway management
- Medication administration
- Diapering
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently
- Preferred: School-based nursing experience
- Compassionate, clinically strong nurse with experience caring for medically complex pediatric patients and the ability to confidently provide independent nursing care in a school environment.
