Seeking Fellowship Trained Orthopedic Trauma surgeon. Join our group of over 20 talented surgeons and 20 orthopedic PAs in beautiful Walnut Creek, California! You will be close to San Francisco, Napa, the coast, and beautiful Lake Tahoe. You will be joining our fellowship trained trauma surgeon and supporting trauma team in covering two busy hospitals (non-trauma designation) with abundant complex trauma referrals. Kaiser Permanente is the dominant health care provider in California and our two facilities have near the highest volume of fracture care referrals. An orthopedic trauma block is reserved 5 days per week. On average 1 in 10 call, 3+ operative days per week, 40 hours per week plus variable call hours. Excellent time off and benefits. You must be board eligible/certified in Orthopedics, have a current California medical license, and have completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma. You must be comfortable with a diverse trauma practice to include occasional pelvis and acetabulum, high volume of complex peri-articular injuries of all joints excluding foot and hand, geriatric trauma, pediatric trauma, non-unions, infections, and complex soft tissue management. Bonus if adept and willing to take on complex upper extremity trauma to include complex elbow reconstruction, total elbow arthroplasty and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty for fractures. You will be supported by a talented group of surgeons representing most of the orthopedic subspecialities.

  • Must be eligible to obtain a CA medical license or be currently licensed to practice within CA

Details:
Full-time annual salary range is $525,000 to $554,040 plus additional potential incentives up to $64,900*. Reduced schedules with pro-rated compensation may be available. *Some incentive opportunities are estimates based on potential premium pay.
