Description
The Nutrition Operations Coordinator will provide support and assists with the daily nutrition operations, ensuring efficient execution of fueling station initiatives, inventory management, product procurement, student staff day to day operations, and nutrition fueling station education initiatives.
Essential Duties
- Coordinates day-to-day student worker communication, task delegation, and accountability.
- Serves as a liaison for student workers during assigned shifts and escalate concerns to Dietitians as appropriate.
- Assist with the student schedule and coordinating with Dietitians.
- Maintain and update student task sheets and standard operating procedures; collaborate with Dietitians on team-specific procedures and responsibilities.
- Assist with onboarding and training new hires on fueling station operations, coordinate shadow shifts, and ensure competency prior to independent shifts.
- Coordinates inventory initiatives and support procurement of goods based on trends.
- Support Dietitians with travel nutrition operation needs.
- Assist with facility and equipment management and routine maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with event representatives related to fueling station and meal needs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist Dietitians with vendor coordination and execution.
- Monitor inventory costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
- Req Bachelor's Degree Degree in Nutrition or related field
- Req Strong attention to detail
- Req Flexible with unconventional hours and may work nights, weekends and holidays
- Req Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pref 1 - 3 years Experience providing supporting sports nutrition
Required Licenses/Certifications:
- Req Fire Life Safety Training (LA City) If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)

The hourly rate range for this position is $21.00 - $30.96.
