KellyOCG (Outsourcing and Consulting Group), a division of Kelly Services, is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist with a strong background in procurement or Statement of Work (SOW) program management to support European-based clients. This role focuses on delivering program services and driving operational excellence for several Managed Service Provider (MSP) programs for KellyOCG's clients.
Position Overview:
The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for the successful delivery of services and building strong relationships with key client stakeholders and strategic suppliers. The role involves developing relationships with client stakeholders, including business leaders and Category Managers, and providing procurement operations support effectively. The global KellyOCG Services Procurement Center of Excellence team supports this role, assisting with continuous improvement initiatives, supply chain strategy and optimization efforts, and ongoing procurement consultation.
Key Focus Areas:
- SOW Lifecycle Management Optimization: Efficient management of the supplier statements of work from Source-to-Pay, including Competitive bidding/RFx, benchmarking and negotiation.
- Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships across business and procurement stakeholders.
- Cost Savings Management: Drive cost savings on supported SOW engagements.
- Supplier Management: Support supplier performance and contract administration activities.
- Operational Excellence: Ensuring the program meets contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
This is a remote role, based in United Kingdom. It may require periodic on-site presence and, therefore, periodic travel to other European Clients and KellyOCG sites.
Roles and Responsibilities:
This position will provide operational support and consultation to support the ongoing service delivery of KellyOCG-managed services procurement programs. Key responsibilities include:
- Consulting with client stakeholders to determine appropriate paths for engaging talent, guiding managers to proper buying channels, and ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
- Facilitating and monitoring SOW engagement life cycle management within VMS, including:
- Sourcing new suppliers
- Creating and managing bidding events/RFx, supporting final negotiations
- Creating SOW based on client requisitioners' provided information
- Facilitating SOW change orders
- Monitoring SOW payment requests and issue resolution
- Onboarding and offboarding suppliers and workers
- Establishing and managing relationships among Suppliers, Client Managers, Procurement, and other stakeholders
- Maintain focus on program goals, manage time and competing priorities, and adhere to KellyOCG's process, technology, and documentation requirements.
- Set and achieve program goals, including meeting financial targets and enabling global and business expansion.
- Monitor and ensure the successful delivery of an SOW management MSP program, achieving key metrics such as optimal source-to-settle cycle times, payment processing, cost savings targets, and supply chain performance.
- Coordinate with KellyOCG's Services Procurement Consulting team to ensure quality delivery of procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, negotiations, contract management, competitive bidding, benchmarking and analytics, supplier management and optimization, and engagement lifecycle management.
- Create and maintain program documentation, including process flows and work instructions.
- Support the analyze of program data and trends to present findings to client leadership during business reviews.
- Resolve escalated issues and service delivery challenges, including supplier performance and contract management issues. Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective action plans.
- Lead change management and program adoption initiatives, including relationship building, client presentations, and stakeholder training.
- Act as a cooperative and contributing team member to ensure high service levels for customers, suppliers, and program stakeholders.
- Develop strong knowledge of Vendor Management System (VMS) technology to operate efficiently and troubleshoot issues.
- Support technology updates by providing overviews of new functionality to clients and suppliers as necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, operations, Procurement or Business-related field
- At least 5 years of experience in Procurement or an Operations role, ideally processing Statements of Work.
- Experience in negotiations and supplier management.
- Experience in external client service outsourcing or consulting.
- Knowledge of VMS technology such as SAP Fieldglass/Beeline or procurement systems like SAP Ariba/Oracle/Coupa.
- Preferred experience supporting indirect services categories such as Consulting, Engineering and IT services.
- Demonstrated ability in managing sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of discretion and professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to influence.
- Ability to proactively build and maintain internal KellyOCG and external business relationships.
