Our Summer Internship Program offers students valuable exposure to Kelly and the staffing industry, providing practical, hands-on corporate experiences that enhance both academic and professional growth.

As an Intern, through a variety of tasks, projects, and interactions, you will have the opportunity to explore your strengths, develop transferable skills, and set yourself on a successful professional path – potentially pursuing a future career with Kelly.

  1. Finance – Corporate Development and Strategy (incl M&A)
  2. Human Resources – Talent Management, Strategic Human Resources, and Total Rewards
  3. Office of the Presidents – Automation Technology
  4. Workforce Strategy – Revenue Generation / Sourcing Strategies
  5. Kelly Education – Marketing and Strategic Communications
• Dates: June 2 - August 15
• Location: Troy, Michigan
• Hybrid: Onsite (in office) at least 2 days per week

Overview of Internship:

Kelly Education – Marketing and Strategic Communications

Collaborate with experienced professionals, including Kelly Education leaders and team members, while contributing to meaningful projects that align with our mission of connecting passionate educators with students and schools.

• Develop a foundation in marketing principles and strategic communications within the education industry
• Gain meaningful experience with branding, content creation, and social media marketing
• Build a professional portfolio featuring press releases, campaigns, and other impactful projects
• Work closely with industry leaders, gaining insights into high-level strategies and approaches to organizational challenges

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program (or equivalent) with a business-focused degree (e.g., economics, finance, accounting, business analytics, human resources, etc.)
• Highly motivated and adaptable, with a curiosity to learn real-world business and financial concepts
• Self-driven, resourceful, independent, and willing to take initiative 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative style to working 1:1 or as a team
• Basic project management and research capability 
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and high technical learning agility
• Can maintain confidentiality and discretion 
• Must be legally eligible to work for the duration of the program in Michigan – sponsorship and relocation / housing are not offered with these positions
