Account Executive – B2B SaaS (Cannabis Retail Solutions)
Location: Remote (PST or EST preferred) or Hybrid | Travel Required

As an Account Executive, you'll play a pivotal role in driving revenue by generating high-quality leads and converting them into long-term customers. From crafting personalized outreach to running demos and closing deals, you'll lead the full sales cycle—while collaborating across teams to deliver tailored solutions. - Drive outbound prospecting via email, social media, and calls—crafting targeted, value-based messaging
- Qualify and follow up on inbound leads promptly and professionally
- Attend trade shows across North America and generate new business opportunities
- Lead sales cycles from first contact through demo, proposal, negotiation, and closing
- Partner with product specialists to deliver tailored, ROI-focused presentations
- Collaborate with Marketing to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign impact
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM, track pipeline progress, and forecast revenue
- Contribute to continuous process improvements across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
- Share insights from the field to help influence product direction and go-to-market messaging
- Represent the company as a knowledgeable, trusted advisor in the cannabis retail tech space
- 3–5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment
- Strong outbound prospecting skills with comfort in cold outreach and qualifying inbound leads
- Proven track record of generating, managing, and closing a pipeline of high-quality opportunities
- Experience managing CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and reporting on pipeline activity
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills—both written and verbal
- Self-starter with a data-driven, growth-focused mindset
- Organized, adaptable, and eager to iterate based on feedback and results
- Willingness to travel for trade shows and occasional client meetings
- Experience in or enthusiasm to learn about the cannabis retail industry is a strong asset
- Familiarity with eCommerce, SEO, or digital marketing is a plus
- OTE $150,000–$200,000/year (based on experience and performance)
- Uncapped commission with tiered accelerators
