Project Accounting Advisor IV
Location: Hybrid (In-office Mon, Tues, Thurs) – Edmonton, AB
Duration: 1 year contract
Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week
Salary: $55.00 - $68.00/hour + 4% vacation pay

- Collaborating with Project and Program Managers for accurate cost management and timely monthly financial reporting
- Compiling and reconciling accounting transactions, preparing accruals, and assessing time sheet entries
- Maintaining and reporting financial controls, entering project financials into accounting systems
- Setting up, closing out, and maintaining work breakdown structures and budgets in systems such as Oracle, Copperleaf, and EPPRT
- Supporting Procure to Pay processes: monitoring commitments, entering purchase order requests, coding invoices, and liaising with vendors/internal teams
- Processing changes to project forecasts and budgets, and assisting with annual budget preparation and cost center reporting
- 10+ years of experience in project cost control with strong attention to detail
- Accounting credentials
- Advanced Excel and database application skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Strong time management skills to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Experience with ERP systems
- (Preferred) Chartered Professional Accountant designation or a background in the oil and gas industry
