Description

Join our dynamic team as an Accounts Payable Specialist! In this individual contributor role, you will take charge of preparing, recording, verifying, analyzing, and reporting accounts payable transactions. Your expertise will ensure timely payments to vendors and accurate posting of customer payments. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining and reconciling accounts payable ledger accounts and financial statements, all while employing your keen analytical skills to detect potential fraud. This position offers the opportunity to work independently with minimal supervision, making sound judgments based on your professional expertise.

Job Specifications:

  • Job Type: FullTime
  • Location: Irvine, CA
  • Pay Rate: $37.41 per hour
  • Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, record, verify, analyze, and report accounts payable transactions.
  • Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices and accurate posting of customer payments.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledger accounts and financial statements.
  • Conduct analyses and reconciliations of bill runs to detect fraud.
  • Follow transaction entry verification procedures diligently.
  • Prepare and deliver lowvolume customer billing and address related queries.
  • Uphold the integrity of the Vendor Master database.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • A university degree or equivalent practical experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable procedures and financial concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed judgments.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
