Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Payrate: $32-35.00 an hour
Duration: June – September (3–4 months)
Job Type: Contract

Position Overview:
Kelly is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our finance team during a short-term project from June through September. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and experience in accounting systems, looking for a fixed-term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Support (6:00 AM – 10:00 AM): Assist the Accountant with tasks in PRISM, system backups, SQ emails, option trades, pricing discrepancies, and unbalanced trade resolution.
  • Invoice Processing (10:00 AM – 11:30 AM): Enter Soft Dollar invoices into Cogent, process vouchers, and print documentation.
  • Client Inquiries (11:30 AM – 12:00 PM): Address client questions related to payments, statements, trade activity, and balances.
  • Expense Reporting (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM): Print and voucher trader expense reports.
  • Accounts Receivable (1:00 PM – 2:00 PM): Assist with monthly invoicing and post cash receipts using Sage.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience with accounting systems (e.g., PRISM, Cogent, Sage) is required
  • 3-5 years of accounts receivables experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial data with confidentiality.
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be available to work on-site in Thousand Oaks, CA.
